Land’s End

Land’s End Cornwall UK or the UK version of Cinque Terre.

Hike a section of South West Coast Path, part of the longest national Trail in the UK. Hike along stunning wind-swept cliffs and drop into deserted sandy coves. Hike through the ruins of abandoned coastal castles. The Coast Path has a long history. Much of it follows the route used by the coastguards and excise officers on the watch for smugglers. Right up until 1913, the coastguards regularly patrolled the whole length of the Path in the constant struggle to apprehend lawbreakers. They needed to be able to look down into every bay and cove, and as a result, the Path closely hugs the coast, providing excellent views. If you have watched the series Poldark, this is where it takes place.
